We were made to feel very welcome and our tasting experience was lovely. There was a wide variety of wines to try: several were on the sweet side and there were some varieties that are relatively new to Australia such as Barbera and Petit Verdot. I rather liked one they called Tramillion which has the sweet spiciness of gwertztraminer and, I suspect, will develop the complexity of semillon as it ages. The wines were very reasonably priced, and much cheaper than one might expect.

The Leeton Visitors Information Centre building was erected around 1913 to house the Chief Engineer of the Water Conservation and Irrigation Commission. As well as providing information on local attractions, it is also an art gallery and point of sale for locally made products. View the Men's Shed handmade items or locally made jams, relishes and chocolates. Enjoy the Tastes of Leeton demonstration (11.30am daily) or simply relax in the gardens.
The building which houses the Leeton Information Centre is just gorgeous. We visited to find out what there was to do in and around the area. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and helped us to find what suited us. They gave us a map and directions to the wetlands which was our first port of call. So helpful!

This is a little gem and in the future will be a very big gem. It is a growing concern and a wonderful little gem in the middle of nowhere. The people were really friendly and helpful. The food and drink was wonderful but the service was a little slow but you can see that they will improve on this. I would like to come back in a few years time and see the further development of this place. Highly recommended.
