At Black Hoof, we brew a variety of beers with an emphasis on traditional, true-to-style German lagers and European ales. Our tap lineup is constantly changing and evolving to include beers for each holiday and season. We offer a warm, inviting taproom, delicious brews, and friendly, knowledgeable staff. We hope our hard work, attention to detail and passion for brewing in the traditional style is evident in each and every one of our beers.
If I didn't know better I would have thought we were back living in Deutschland, the decor, warm reception, excellent bier and cheerful staff made our first visit the first of many. The excellent selection of authentic tasting German biers took me back to the days when we were living in Stuttgart and visiting the countryside. Absolutely the best biers I've had since leaving. I sampled 4 different biers and all were excellent and while most would never notice, in the proper glass for the particular type of bier a nuisance only those who've lived there would pick up on, NICE touch! The condiments served with the Bavarian Pretzel were spot on as well.

In colonial days, a traveler stopping at a tavern not only would receive a good meal and a glass of spirits, but would likely hear a good story or two while he puffed on his long clay pipe. In those days, a tavern was more than just a place to eat and drink, it was an experience. It still is today at The King’s Court Tavern. The King’s Court Tavern, at 19 South King Street in historic Leesburg retains the genteel atmosphere and ambiance that was enjoyed by our forefathers. The tavern offers you a special gathering place, where the best food and drink are served in a comfortable, friendly ale-house setting with nightly entertainment. Open for lunch, dinner, or light snacking everyday. Happy Hours are Monday through Friday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m
