Tick Tock Unlock is an exciting live escape game designed for groups of 3-6 people. You only have one goal: escape from the room in 60 minutes by solving a series of puzzles, unraveling clues, and working together as a team to reveal secrets hidden in plain sight. Are you ready to put your wits to the test?
Three of us did the Alice in Wonderland game yesterday. We were met on time at our given meeting place by our lovely games master Sophie and escorted to the secret location. Sophie gave us a comprehensive health and safety talk and introduced us to the game. We thoroughly enjoyed the game despite failing to escape (only just). Don’t want to say too much about the game itself and spoil the surprise for those who haven’t done it, but the clues were varied and some were quite challenging. We laughed at ourselves most of the way through the hour especially when Sophie had to give us clues. I liked it that the door we went into the game was left unlocked for safety reasons. Communication was via a television screen that, when not displaying requested clues, had a clock counting down the time left in the game. All in all - a very entertaining game, by a well run and professional games company. We’ll be back for more.

This was our first experience in an escape room and it won’t be our last one either. The first thing I will mention is the very high level of customer service that they have, I made the booking and made a mistake on it and they contacted me to make sure I was ok and then helped me corrected it. Now onto the actual day we were greeted by the team and meet our game master for the pirates treasure room and it was great, the high level of decoration and the difficulty level was perfect for a first time. Our game master Reece was excellent, walked us through what to expect and what he was able to do. This was for a birthday treat and has left us wanting more, we will be back and sooner rather than later.

A lovely spot to eat your lunch in Leeds City Centre. You reach it by the bottom of the Headrow across from Leeds Town Hall. The roses in summer are lovely and some interesting architecture in the square.

Leeds Town Hall was built between 1853 and 1858 to a design by architect Cuthbert Brodrick. Imagined as a "municipal palace" to demonstrate the power and success of Victorian Leeds, and opened by Queen Victoria in a lavish ceremony in 1858. The Town Hall is one of the largest town halls in the UK and is Grade I listed. With a height of 225 feet, the distinctive clock tower is very impressive and is currently under restoration. The highlight is of course the absolutely magnificent main hall which is now used for concert and civic events such as weddings and other ceremonies. The ceilings are amazing and a well worth the visit alone. I visited on spect and went up to receptions and asked could I have a look around to which the answer was yes the staff even pointed out some highlights including the long corridor which is full of wall plaques to the local fallen of the World Wars. A magnificent building that sits proudly on the roster of the cities premier locations.

Visited late afternoon on Sunday more in hope than expectation of getting in for their Sunday dinner. The place was busy and we were advised that that it would be around 25 minute wait for a table to be available. That will do nicely as it gives an opportunity to sample some of the excellent beers available. Northern Monk Eternal is a light & citrusy session IPA that was a good thirst quencher and perfectly suited to Sunday drinking. Our table became available after only 5 minutes so were seated in one of the booths at the end of the room. This suited us since we had a fair haul of Xmas shopping so needed some extra space. The Turk’s Head does offer table service, but we had to request the waiter to place our food order. From this point onwards service was excellent without being intrusive. Food now ordered; rump of Nidderdale lamb with all the trimmings (Yorkie pud/roast spuds/parsnip/red cabbage etc.). This was delicious! See accompanying photo. You have to pay for quality, £15 in the instance but this reflected in the quality of the ingredients particularly the lamb. Is this the best Sunday roast in Leeds? It could be... try it yourself to decide! Very good beer selection, a couple of red wines by the glass and mulled wine. This all makes for a very relaxing Sunday. Looking forward to future visits.

This is more than just a library. It is adjacent to the Leeds Art Gallery and shares a fantastic tiled cafe. A most impressive eating hall. Staff are helpful and very pleasant. Great place for a quick cuppa and cake.
