Escape Room in Las Palmas, located in the Alcaravaneras district. Come and enjoy the exciting story of doctor Meins in his try to save the world from the great menace he himself created. Suited for groups from 2 up to 6 members. We speak english and german.
Decided to get out of the sun for a few hours and try something new. Our host was very obliging as we speak no Spanish. I was the only member who had done an escape room before but we all joined in and had fun. The price was fair and the hour went by very quickly. Would definately recommend a visit. If you have kids under 16 they can adapt the game if you give them notice. Brilliant may be back for room 2

Street with upscale shopping
Anything you want is probably here, there are many restaurants along the way and no cars so walking is easy and leisurely. Lots of local shops. Try cafe SOL for coffee. Nice service and presentation and a good energy boost along the way. Very fair prices.

A wonderful square dominated by splendid buildings from the 19th century and shadowed by palm trees. Restaurants and cafés have terraces that invite for staying and enjoying both atmosphere and the food and drink.

The Belen de Arena on Las Canteras Beach is one of the main Christmas happenings in the city. This year, a total of 8 international sculptors have modeled the different traditional Christmas scenes in only 9 days. The entrance is free but at the exit, you can give some donation to the defense of the rights and welfare of children. Definitely a must-see place in Las Palmas during Christmas time.

The square is ‘guarded’ by 8 bronze dog statues. The highlight is the twin-towered Cathedral of Santa Ana, the first church in the Canaries, which was commissioned by Queen Isabella of Castile and King Ferdinand of Aragon following the Spanish conquest. Constructed over four centuries, it is an amalgam of architectural styles (Gothic, Renaissance and Neoclassical) styles. There is an impressive vaulted nave with several beautiful chapels off this, with some fine stained-glass windows, statues (most of which are from the famous religious sculptor José Luján Pérez) and paintings. Worth a quick peek, but nothing spectacular. There is a separate entrance (and fee) for the lift up to the viewing terrace in the south tower.Other nearby impressive historic buildings include the Cathedral; white colonial Palacio Episcopal Bishop’s Palace; 17th century Casa Regente (residence of the president of Gran Canaria’s High Court of Law); and elegant 19th century Town Hall.
