We've heard Toronto described as "New York City run by the Swiss," and it's true—you can find world-class theater, shopping and restaurants here, but the sidewalks are clean and the people are friendly. The best place to start is literally at the top—the CN Tower, the tallest freestanding structure in the Western Hemisphere.

Since 1993, Meridian Arts Centre (formerly the Toronto Centre for the Arts) has welcomed thousands of visitors, patrons, performers and artists through its grand main entrance. The Centre began and remains as unique and diverse as the Toronto community itself, a testament to the virtues of harmony, vitality and celebration, with a spirit that embraces innovation and tradition equally. Located in the heart of the Greater Toronto Area, no other entertainment and arts facility is better positioned than the Toronto Centre for the Arts. It is easily accessible by major highways, arteries as well as the public transit system. Equidistant between the Sheppard and North York Centre TTC stations, the Centre's surrounding area boasts ample on-street and underground parking, and convenient special needs parking near the theatre entrance.
Professional staff facilitated moving a huge crowd in and out of the venue incredibly smoothly. We had great seats, and there doesn’t appear to be a bad seat in the house. Our experience was slightly marred by a rude woman who refused to shut up during the performance, until other patrons made a considerable fuss and her husband threatened to leave her there. However, that was not the venue’s fault, and it looked like staff were about to step in.
