Langkawi is a serene archipelago of 140 islands – only a few of which are inhabited. The largest of these is the eponymous Langkawi Island, which has UNESCO World Geopark status because of its richly populated (by wildlife, that is) conservation areas. The best way to experience these ecological wonders is from high above, on the Langkawi Sky Bridge that stretches above the rainforest. Cheekily-named Pregnant Maiden freshwater lake is a great place to take a dip or play keep-away with the kleptomaniac monkeys.

We went to Ah Chongs several times during our 6 night stay In Langkawi, sometimes going before dinner for cocktails /signature G & T’s and then back after for their delicious Martini Tiramisu. Best place for cocktails and chilling out ????????

There are a lot of steps to climb but its worth it. First waterfall is pleasant to look at. Then walk up more steps for 20 mins to next waterfall/rock pools is excellent. Bring swimming togs. Free of charge to enter. Only rm2 parking at entrance. Toilets and simple shops onsite.

Try our refreshingly delicious cocktails and mixers while grooving to the music. We play other genres too, occasionally. Meet and mingle with other travellers and our friendly crew. reggae-lah

A beautiful beach this time of year. The beach was clean, as was the water. The water felt cooler here than the northern end of the island, which is nice. Less crowded here than Pantai Cenang

Langkawi Craft Complex is one of the major tourist destinations in Langkawi Island. It is one-stop center that serves a variety of authentic craft products such as batik, hand woven cloth, fiber plaited, metals and other crafts. Visit Langkawi Craft Complex, which provide many interesting activities such as craft sales, craft demonstrations, educational crafts, cultural performance and guided tours. Unique architecture with attractive landscaping makes Langkawi Craft Complex as a must-see tourist destination.
Does not expect much. But was surprise during the visit. Local quality product better sold in chenang beach which mostly imported from thailand. My kids having fun painting batik which just cost rm10. There's a small heritage museum which is interesting & its free. A place where u can buy locally made product.
