From the outside this church looks fairly un-astounding but when you walk through the door it is completely different, it is magnificent and beautiful. The whole church is well looked after and very colourful. It is a mix of many different periods and well worth a visit by anyone who appreciated history and art. My favourite attraction in Landsberg

The European holocaust Memorial holds the last remains of the largest concentration camp commands on the former Nazi-German empire ground e.g. five ruins of concentration camp bunkers and the last traces of concentration camp earth huts. Jews from all of Europe were deported in the eleven concentration camp commandos of Kaufering. Within only ten months at least 14.500 were murdered. A monument ensemble against racism and totalitarianism at the place of the crime - under the executive management of "Bürgervereinigung Landsberg im 20. Jahrhundert".

The fountain is quite an attraction in the center of the historic town. On the sunny day I was there, it was magnificent to just sit around and take in the vibe of the old town. There are benches around. There are also cafes and many eateries around the fountain. And then on the rainy day- the waters were flowing and the square was dismal with passerby’s in rain gear.
