Turbary Woods Owl and Bird of Prey Sanctuary is a pure volunteer based, non profit group of volunteers. The flying display give you the visitors, Children & Adults, the chance to participate in the flying display and have our birds land on your gloved hand as they fly to you for their food. We have a collection of over 80 birds of prey including eagles, hawks, falcons, owls, vultures and more unusual species. All the birds are housed in large open fronted aviaries, sheltered in a woodland setting. We assist conservation and education of these beautiful Birds and we are involved with an average of 50 rescues each year.

Bancroft Mill Engine Museum was established in 1980 to preserve one of the last working steam mill engines in the area. This magnificent 600HP engine, with its two cylinders and 16 foot flywheel originally drove 1,250 weaving looms. Open (free) most Saturdays from 11-3pm. The engine is run steam between 1pm and 3.45pm on many Sundays from mid March through to mid November. See website for dates. We also have a smaller engine of about 250HP rescued from a mill near Skipton and restored to steam operation after a ten year restoration. Escape Blackpool is a collection of new, fun and challenging Escape Games. Based just off the promenade at 300 Lytham Road our games are designed for teams of two to six players.
