This is the first review I write in my entire life but I do it because it’s so worth it!!! If you have a chance to spend some time in Lake Tahoe, don’t miss the opportunity to go watch the Magic show. Our show was hosted by Robert Hall and we shared a amazing moment thanks to his talent and professionalism while remaining accessible and so funny! Thank you again to this great man. Forget the clubs or the casino, go to the magic show! A very good invest for couple, family or with friends You’ll thank me later ????

Tahoe Improv Players

They make stuff up, you laugh...it's simple! Wonderful fun for the whole family! Be sure to catch shows each summer featuring the truly amazing Tahoe Improv Players! For twenty five years The Tahoe iMPRoV Players have been turning audience suggestions into hilarious scenes made up on the spot. Their improv journey began as ComedySportz of Lake Tahoe in 1994. Three years later they evolved into the Tahoe iMPRoV players. They have performed at Valhalla Estate for 23 of their 25 years, and were one of the first theater troupes to perform in the Boathouse Theater after it opened in 2000. "Twenty five years! You know what they say ... when time goes by fast, it goes by fast," said Gerry Orton, the troupe's director. Beginning their 26th year, The Tahoe iMPRoV Players are the longest performing theater act in Lake Tahoe. Get your tickets at Valhalla Tahoe. Please note: Tahoe Improv Players are not associated with The Improv club at Harveys Stateline.

Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena

Reviewed By 73BruceS - Reno, United States

Being a musician, there is nothing that compares to the acoustics of an outdoor venue. Located behind Harvey's Casino, this concert facility has great sound, multiple big screens and well placed concessions. Only downside are the bathrooms, all on one side of the arena, so plan accordingly. Our most recent concert was Peter Frampton and Steve Miller, both guitar virtuosos. Unbelievable that Steve is 74 and still going strong. WOW! Catch these 2 if you get the chance, the looks may have changed but the music has not!! Show started around 7:30 and Steve didn't leave the stage until after 11...NICE! The crowds have always been fun and, like most venues, it's all about the seats. With the big screens, you can see the acts up close, the video crew does a great job of panning around the stage. Again, it's all about the music (the sound), and the acoustics are spot on. Sit outside early to catch the sound checks (you can hear them from many of the local hotel pools).
