This is an exceptional metro park, easily accessible with a beautiful paved all purpose trail, bridle trails and off pavement hiking trails for all ability levels. The historic squires castle is a must see and a wonderful setting for a picnic. An extremely well maintained and clean park, enjoy.

The site is made up of a visitors' center, as well as the 20-room farmhouse Garfield lived in with his wife and five children.
What a nice surprise this historic site turned out to be! The Garfield National Historic Site offered one of the more informative and entertaining tours I’ve been on in quite some time. The staff here really love their jobs and take great pride in interacting with visitors. Nice museum and film. Grounds well kept. Of course the focal point of the historic site is the Garfield house - an impressive structure that houses tons of authentic artifacts to the Garfield family, including the first presidential library. Kids were free; adults $10. Well worth it. If you are in the area, don’t miss this NHS dedicated to a man whom - had he lived - might have been one of America’s greatest presidents.

The Holden Arboretum is 3,500 acres of the most beautiful gardens and natural areas in Northeast Ohio, including the Holden Wildflower Garden, featuring Ohio native plants; the Holden Butterfly Garden, which attracts hummingbirds and butterflies; the 20-acre Layer Rhododendron Garden and the 4.5 acre Paine Rhododendron Discovery Garden; and collections of lilacs, viburnums, crabapples and conifers. Admission to the Arboretum includes the Murch Canopy Walk and the Kalberer Emergent Tower, which are open from April 1 through Nov. 1. Guided walking tours of the grounds are available from April through May, and tram tours are available May through October. Winter activities include snowshoe hikes in January and February, weather permitting.
Nice area to walk around with all the trees, plants and ponds. Decorated very nice for Halloween. The canopy walk was nice and the Emergent tower had breathtaking views of the area and you can see Lake Erie. With COVID you do need to purchase your tickets online. The canopy walk and tower only allow a certain number of people on them at one time.

Historic Site and Visitors Center with historic village from the 1830's featuring a sawmill, ashery, country store and historic home sites.
I went during the Christmas season to see the Nativities from around the world. They were interesting and there were lots of them. This is free to view and worth the stop if you are in the area. I am told that they have different ones each year. In the lobby they have a large nativity. I have been there two separate years and it has been hand made and nicely done. They also have some lights outside. It is not very large so it would take you about a half hour to an hour to look around. It depends on how long you view the nativities.

The inspiration of opening a winery originated from the love of fine wines and the charming local wineries of the Grand River Valley. Opening a winery evolved into more than just an idea when two brothers were hunting in Idaho. While sampling some wines from California, it became clear that Northeast Ohio also has the potential to offer great wines. From here the idea came to life when the search began for the perfect place to make Laurentia a home. Things materialized as we acquired land for our vines and eventually this spot to build our winery. Plantings commenced in 2011 and in the following years while we broke ground for our production building and beautiful winery in 2013. It has been a long, exciting process, but we are completely rewarded with the end result and welcome you to share our joy
This is my very favorite winery in the Geneva on the Lake area. The atmosphere is great and their wines are so good! Our favorite is the American Pinot Noir. I feel like this is what. Winery in California is like. Definitely recommend!
