Lahaina, the former Hawaiian capital, was the center of the global whaling trade, and its Historic District is a National Historic Landmark. Traditional Hawaiian luaus, surf lessons and tours on horseback are fun, but let’s be realistic—you wouldn’t be in Hawaii if you didn’t want to go to the beach. Try Ka’anapali Beach, one of Maui’s best.

This is and will surely be the worse kept secret on the island. Simply said: INCREDIBLE!!!!!????????. Everything about the experience was top shelf. From the great staff (thanks Jason) to just how easy it was to order, cook and enjoy fresh seafood ???? totally customizable to your liking or the pre-fix pots. Jason will walk you through how to make it to order. We added shrimp ???? which was delicious. The seafood is delivered daily. Instruction were simple and we couldn’t finish all the food. MUST DO IN MAUI.

My, my, my~ I can't get enough of Palaloha Bikinis! We come to Maui for the winter every year. I wear my bikini in Wisconsin, Florida, Arizona, AND Hawaii. I wear them so much, I wear them out! But hey, that is a GOOD thing! Because then you can get a new one! Last night after dinner in Lahina my husband and I stopped at their store on Front Street. I had surfed in my three-year-old bikini that day and my bottoms wouldn't stay up! Time for a new suit! If you don't have one yet~ Get one! I am a 66 year old surfer girl!

A great local artist found on Front Street which should be a stop for anyone looking to support the community and bring back beautiful glass work for yourself or for gifts. I was drawn to the glass flowers which were delicately beautiful. Another option to shop small and shop local.

Wow! John, the photographer, is so fun and captures the mood of his subjects. The prices seemed high, but we did feel he took excellent pictures. We are thankful for their flexibility as we called early in the morning to make an appointment and were able to get our pictures taken the same day. The session included several settings and many options were available to us. Thank you!

The locals cannot praise this place enough - this place was recommended to us by at least 8 locals on different occasions as THE place to go for Poke. We each got a poke bowl for about $15ea and it was easily the best Poke i've had in my life. Dont let the setting of a liquor store fool you, this is some seriously good food from a great business.
