I had the pleasure of touring Hills and Dales all dressed up for the holidays with fresh flowers and greenery and even old-fashioned icicles on the elaborate Christmas tree in the main room -- reminiscent of the way it might have looked when past owners resided there. All the rooms are being kept in pristine condition, as well as the extensive gardens outside. Start your tour at the first-class Visitors Center and come back to make a purchase at the Gift Shop. The gardens are planned to be beautiful in every season.

Bellevue is a gorgeous house in great shape since it's as old as the antebellum period. The tour guides are friendly and really know the place. Admission is also really cheap and worth the tour.

Biblical History Center

Please know that we have recently changed the name of our museum to BIBLICAL HISTORY CENTER. We wanted a clearer name to depict who we are and what exactly we do. Nothing else about the museum has changed aside from our name. We are currently in the process of switching over the TripAdivsor page information. Please bare with us as we make that transition.** Our mission at the Biblical History Center is to help people experience the ancient biblical world, its history, and culture. We have an Archaeological Replica Garden with life-size replicas of archaeological digs including a typical house, Roman step theater, goat hair tent, tombs, and more. Our Biblical Life Artifacts Gallery houses 250 artifacts from Israel and is one of seven of its kind in the world! We also have fun activities available for kids and teens. Reservations are required for most activities.

Sweetland Amphitheatre

Went here with a couple to see blackberry smoke. We bought our tickets late so the only choice was lawn seats. The staff were picking up garbage all the time, bathrooms were clean with no lines. Very impressive place my only disappointment is they only had a few scheduled events for the summer. I live between LaGrange and Atlanta, and would go here in a New York min over anything in Atlanta.

Soundsystem was awesome and not a bad seat in the lawn. Bring one of those short legged "beach" lawn chairs for a great experience.

Only complaint is parking options could be marked better, which is minor. We ended up parking in VIP lot for $20 right next to the venue. Looking forward to going back!!! Thank you LaGrange for such a nice venue I hope the bookings increase as time goes on.

We visited Wild Leap with our adult children for a tour. Learned a lot about brewing beer. Knowledgeable guide. It would be neat to see the canning process. Outdoor games and a larger patio area with room for live music. It would be fun just to come for a beer and try a new variety.

We were in town to see the Christmas at Callaway Gardens, and were looking for other things to do while in the area. Went to the museum in the afternoon. Full of pictures and artifacts from the area. Spent about 30 minutes there, and would have stayed longer, but we had to leave to go back home. Worth a stop. It's more than I would expect for such a small town.
