We had the great privilege to be the only tourists for the free walking tour with Dominic. Native English speaker, he speaks in lively and clear way. A gifted ghost story teller : you get goosebumps even in the middle of the day! Use of timelines and historical pictures is always appreciated.

Lahemaa National Park, just east of Tallinn, is a place with breathtaking landscapes and unspoilt nature. You can find beautiful peninsulas and bays, forests and beaches, waterfalls and bogs seasoned with rich cultural history. This day trip is perfect for spending a day out of Tallinn. The first stop on the way is Jägala waterfall, after which the tour will visit Sagadi Manor, where you can learn about the legacy of German land-owners living in the Estonian countryside for centuries. You will then visit Altja village which is unique as it represents the architecture of our fishing villages as they were before the estblishment of coastal border zone during the Soviet times. You have time for a walk by the seaside and Altja tavern is open for tasting traditional Estonian farm food. Last thing on the tour is picturesque walk in Viru bog. You will go on the boardwalk leading to observation tower where you can admire how the unique vegetation is contrasting the clear bog pools.
Inclusions: Air-conditioned vehicle, Guide service
Exclusions: You will have a chance to buy lunch during a break at a local restaurant.

It was our guide's first food tour - and he did a great job! We ate our way through Tallinn market, a Soviet style canteen, Hipster heaven in Telliskivi & finished with desert and Vana Tallinn at "Pööbel". Friendly Igor spoke impecable English and knew absolutely everything - we had a wonderful time!

I am very proud of my country and wish to share my feelings with newcomers. Estonia is also represented as E-stonia, as we are strong in recycling and nature preservation. Lahemaa national park is the best representative of our efforts for this. By the way, It is the first national park of Estonia and the whole Soviet Union. It accumulates not also great variety of nature but local seamen villages and nobility manors. On our way to Lahemaa we will make brief stops at burial mounds of 800bc, waterfall, windmill, cozy stronghold.

First time to Estonia traveling as a solo female and Roman is like a local friend who made me feel safe. Roman picked me up at the Ferry Terminal in a comfortable clean car and we went exploring the beautiful town of Tallinn. I did a 3hour tour Modern City, Old Town and Kadriorg Park. He was also kind enough to pickup me up 8am at my hotel for an airport transfer. Roman is friendly, fun, knowledgeable, speaks English well and is a safe driver. I enjoyed learning about Estonian culture/history and sharing laughs about life. Roman is an amazing iPhone photographer who took Instagram worthy photos - yay no need for a selfie stick! Thank you again for your positive energy and creating special memories along with beautiful photos that will last forever! Your hospitality is sincerely appreciated! The tour was fairly priced compared to other companies but Roman provides a 5 Star authentic experience that is priceless. Take this opportunity to book him as your private tour guide today!
