Despite my having ample time for this year’s annual first quarter foreign odyssey (14JAN-07APR2020), I knew it wouldn’t be complete with using the exquisite & well-developed (public & private) bus transportation system. Whether commuting within town or between communities, these luxurious buses accommodate virtually everyone, including all their luggage. I had taken a regularly scheduled bus from Salta to San Salvador de Jujuy terminal, then narrowly caught the Purmamarca bus. After two great overnights at the fabulous La Reliquia, adding exquisite sites to my bucket list, the public bus from there North to La Quiaca along magnificent Ruta 9 was EXCELLENT, professionally organized and extremely scenic. It’s Northern termination was the crowded/congested bus station, hub of life for all inbound/outbound passengers. It was great for me because I only had to Gimpwalk downhill to my reserved room at the great Crystal Hotel! I certainly give this facility my enthusiastic “iWheel of Approval!”
