A unique gallery, an enchanting destination, not to be missed by art lovers... In the heart of Charlevoix for three decades now, Le P'tit Bonheur is committed to offering visitors a varied selection of high-quality figurative works in a welcoming setting. The gallery proudly exhibits the work of some thirty artists, painters and sculptors, among the most renowned in Quebec and Canada.
From the moment we stepped through the doors, our eyes feasted on the colours and textures of hundreds of pieces of art, beautifully arranged to view each artist’s work. Marie Eve is an enthusiastic and knowledgeable representative of her gallery, enthusiastically sharing her expertise of each art piece and the backgrounds of the artists. A wonderful experience and a most pleasurable way to spend time in La Malbaie

We drove from Baie-Saint-Paul to La Baie, overnighted in Chicoutimi and returned to La Malbaie after a cruise on the Saguenay River at one of the provincial parks. The next day we drove through Saint-Aime-Des-Lacs to another provincial park on the Malbaie River. The scenery during all our drives was spectacular and traffic was very light. The Saguenay River is 200 metres deep, tidal and partly salty and is very photogenic. We visited a number of cheese “farms”, an oyster mushroom farm and had some magnificent dinners in Chicoutimi and La Malbaie. The Charlevoix region is a jewel and a great are for a foodie road trip.

When you are visiting Charlevoix, there is a must to go and see the souvenir boutique of Martine and Sylvie Simard at La Malbaie (Cap-à-l'Aigle). You will encounter two great women who've decided to promote the fine art of Charlevoix. You will appreciate your visit to Cap aux trésors and maybe find the greatest gift of your journey!!

Bring a picnic to enjoy at one of the well cared for cabins, with wooden stoves (with a healthy supply of "real" bois!) and picnic tables and wonderful fellow skiers.

The Club de Golf Le Manoir Richelieu is home to a 27 world class golf course. This unique golf experience starts with an exclusive panoramic trail leading directly to the Clubhouse. The golf course, which is entirely made of creeping bent grass, counts between 6066 and 6326 yards depending on which course is played. The three nines offer golfers a design of greenside and fairway bunkers, and multitudes of trees and mounds that surround each reconstructed hole. The fairways, which seem pretty wide, cannot be taken at ease.
A golfer's paradise, a fabulous setting and a thrill, really. Just climbing the steep hill will give you a pretty good idea of what you are in for. We made sure to set aside some time to enjoy an early breakfast at the clubhouse and to hit a few balls from the top of the rather unique driving range. The view from here is awe-inspiring. Of the three 9-hole courses, the St. Laurent offers the best views, panoramas and vertical drops you will not soon forget. The inclined slopes and unusually fast greens made the game quite a challenge, but we enjoyed every minute of it. Despite this year's hot and dry summer, the course was in good shape, with the exception of a couple of fairways. While there was no marshal on the grounds, the pace of the game was just fine, right within regulation time. Very friendly and accommodating staff. By the way, if you want to book well in advance, you can do so via your participating hotel or country inn. If this review has been helpful, please let me know by clicking on Thank below.
