One of the seven Canary Islands, sun-drenched Gomera is one of the less visited of this Atlantic archipelago. Offering the perfect escape, Gomera's attractions include dramatic beaches, trails through tropical mountain scenery and misty rainforest. Hike the mysterious Garajonay National Park or mountainous Cumbre de Chijere. Soak up the sun in scenic Valle Gran Rey or on Puerto de Santiago's pretty beach. Popular with the yachting crowd, Gomera is reached by air or ferry from the other Canaries.

Pleasant, rocky beach with a dramatic shoreline.
Small nice town full of local restaurants and many places to stay. Germans everywhere.. Easy to find day trecking in the area. Not so much good beaches. Very beautiful town!

A stop on our cross Atlantic cruise. The contrasts between dry areas and rain Forrest are awesome. Our tour took us around the island. If you visit the Canary Island take a trip there. Visit Garajonay National Park and Agulo - well worth the trip. Learn about Vertical and horizontal rain.
