Insightful. Thought-provoking. Comprehensive. Marekvy should be the public relations officer for this charming, historical and beautiful town. We felt privileged to have met her. A sensational guide.period

I called and scheduled this tour at the last minute and Cesar was able to quickly accommodate! He was VERY knowledgeable about the history of the city and seemed to be acquainted with many of people who run the places we visited. He was even able to give me a suggestion for dinner that night! I loved that he was punctual and even when I couldn't find our meeting spot we could chat via WhatsApp and he directed me right to him! Although I do speak Spanish, I wanted this tour in English to make sure I understood every detail. His English was really great- best of any tour guide I had during my entire two week trip in Colombia!
In that place, a mangrove forest opens its way, where we will find 3 different types of mangroves (red, gray and black) that are intertwined to form a natural barrier to prevent erosion of the waves and at the same time create a refuge natural where animals (fish and birds) come to put their young so they can grow protected and away from the great hunters. A natural environment where you can observe birds and try your luck with the nets that try to catch something in the style of the natives of these lands who for years have perfected the art of fishing with nets. In this way, you can enjoy fishing, the natural environment of a mangrove forest, the sighting of animals and the typical food of Cartagena.

Excellent experience. We wanted a quick tour to the mud volcano and some fun photo shots. We hate group tours because so much time is wasted picking other guests from different hotels, etc. Also liked that our guide suggested a late afternoon pick up time to avoid traffic and congestion at the mud volcano. We got picked up at our hotel taken to the volcano directly and it was not crowded at all. We truly got to enjoy it and take some pictures without having other people crowding them. I would highly recommend this company. Our tour guide was excellent and the entire experience was effortless. I definitely recommend going at an off time when the big busses full of tourists are not there. The entire experience is pretty quick and the volcano mud area is small so not many people can fit at the same time.

The tour guide spoke with us via the app and in English. They replied back quickly and even sent us a map of where they would be located at the airport. We received details about the vehicle and license plate! The driver even made one stop for us on the way. Defiantly book them! We booked private transportation for 4 people! It was perfect. The vehicle was cool and clean.
We will visit one of the most traditional and cultural fishing neighborhoods in Cartagena that is located 11.2 miles from downtown, where you will be a FISHERMAN for one day! Here, we will discover the beautiful ecosystem of the Mangroves going in small wood boats where I will show you the most traditional fishing techniques to fish crabs, shrimps, seashells, and fish, using traditional elements. We'll be fishing techniques, which consists of fishing with a net that is manually made. Once we learn how to do it, we will fish small fishes to use as baits. It's here where we will learn another very important traditional technique that consists of fishing crabs with traps that are manually made as well. Thirdly, we will learn how to steer our boats manually. Every 15 minutes we will check our traps to see our catch.
