Ads say this is the longest or most beautiful beach in Europe. When a kid I used to hear this was the best in the World and I trust it. Maybe did the star rankers did travel a little and down sized their scale but anyway this is a wonderful place. Nowadays emerges the name of Brittany Riviera for this wonderful resort with a very balanced development and so many options too long to list ... Special events all the year log such as Jumping, Polo, famous Dragon sail boats races, Soling world championship this year. Beach, sea sports of so many kinds, cycling along the wild coast, the special Briere marshes, the sea salt fields (Marais salants), shells picking up at low tide, 3 wonderful Golf courses, gourmet food from sea, and land, typical open air markets at La Baule, Pornichet and Le Pouliguen. Some locals say here you meet with Paradise.
