Winter tourism: freeride skiing, snowshoe tours, snowcat and snowmobile tours, avalanche safety equipment.

We will recommend the Jyrgalan Valley to all friends coming to Kyrgyzstan. The valley is a short journey from Karakol, but largely untouched by tourism. The scenery is spectacular, with green meadows, wildflowers, pristine lakes, snowy peaks and dramatic views in all directions. We loved the 3-day Box Uchuk lakes hike, with the highlight being a river crossing on horseback and being accompanied by two mares (+ horse porters) and their foals! Anyone who enjoys trekking will love this place!

The ski resort Too-Ashuu welkomes all fans of winter show sports. Come and experiens our three treils of different lengs and complexiti, our beautiful landscape, mountain fresh air and sparkling show. Too-Ashuu is located 120 kilometrs from Bishkek and is only a 3 hours drive by car. It is the highest altitude ski resort in Kyrgyzstan with an altitude of 3000 meters above see level.

The weather was what we needed.The track is ideal plus everything from the panoramic top offers a beautiful view of the Suusamyr Valley.Very pleased with the trip

Ski Area with good facilities, at the top over 3040m, perfect views over Lake Issyk Kul and the surrounding mountains. All kind of different slopes even for advances skiers. And so easy to reach from Bishkek or Almaty. Highly recommended!!

One of the closest to and easiest to get from Bishkek ski resorts and, therefore, one of the most popular. Perfect fit for both beginners and more skilled skiers and snowboarders. As it is usually crowded during weekends, it may be a good choice to pay a visit on working days.
