5 of us did the saké tour. The owner (who is a 15th generation inherited) gave us an English guided tour of the brewery out the back, followed by a personal tasting of 5 different types with generous servings. Multiple merchandise options. You can get very tipsy at an very affordable price.

Tsukino Katsura

Tsuki no katsura is one of the oldest sake brewery in Kyoto and is famous for its high grade sake. Home of sparkling sake we also keep more 1000 ceramic bottles of aged sake and then produce the oldest aged sake of Japan which has 53 years old. Mr Masuda (owner) and his team are using traditionals techniques and use the organic Kyoto rice named "Iwai", thereby preserve the sake culture through the centuries.
