What to do and see in Kuta, Bali: The Best Cooking Classes

October 4, 2021 Nicolette Lion

Kuta boasts the best beaches in Bali, a five-mile stretch of clean sand that is a magnet for surfers and sunbathers. When that golden sun goes down, the animals come out—the party animals, that is. Kuta nightlife is almost frantic, as global tourists bounce from restaurant to nightclub in an effort to soak up the Kuta experience like a well-dressed sponge.

I can definitely recommend this cooking class. It is well run from pick up/drop off, market visit to see the essentials for Balinese cooking, etc. Chef Bagus and his team work well and all students have a chance to join in. In all 10 dishes are cooked and enjoyed over lunch afterwards. Ingredients are pre-prepared & measured out by staff to save time hence being able to cook 10 dishes in the timeframe. A great class with fun team. Thankyou all!

We had such a good time with Maria, only the 2 of us, so it was intimate too. Maria took us to the local market, bought extra tropical fruits for us to try. If you want to cook everything yourself step by step in a relaxing mode - this class is perfect. Maria also has a great room with aircon which was highly appreciated due to very warm weather that day :) Thanks for having us Maria - your dishes were delicious - take the grilled fish option too (Amazing) Hope to see you again next trip in Bali for another course ;)
