We booked with Sri Lanka Private Driver after reaching out to three companies. SLPD responded to my inquiries within hours (often minutes) despite a 12 hour time difference. Our driver was Mahesh. He was always prompt, professional, and was much more than just a driver. He was a great guide as well. We had self booked our hotels (2 nights in each of Kandy, Sigiyira, and Nuara Eliya) and had a rough idea of things we wanted to see. Mahesh made sure we saw all that we wanted and much more. He made sure we ate at restaurants friendly to our western stomachs and gave us so much information about Sri Lanka and the places we visited. I would highly recommend booking not only with SLPD, but do request Mahesh. He was great. The car was a newer model Toyota Prius. The car was always clean and stocked with water.

BH Tours were fantastic, from the beginning when I enquired (about a completely bespoke tour) to the end. They ensured that the tour was run smoothly taking us to all the important sights and ensuring we were safe and happy throughout. Nothing was too much and our driver Nishantha was fantastic! He was a true gentleman, very attentive and happy everyday. We wanted to make our trip perfect and did. The hotels they selected were beautiful, far exceeding what I expected! The safari's we did were great. Backwater Lodge near wilpattu was the most wonderful hotel & the safari from there was INCREDIBLE!!! I wouldn't recommend going to Yala, its commercial and not worth it. Sri Lanka is the most wonderful country!

Our tour started with the pick up from our hotel at Galle fort. Roshan was so friendly and extremely informative. Had a wonderful day with new friends, enjoying the scenery and hiking the Rainforest. This should be in everyone's list when visiting Sri Lanka. Loved the added bonus of Tea factory visit. Guide Wigitha made the day amazing. Although no rain in the rainforest ,this day made the hike a bit less slippery, the flora, fauna and the waterfall -- all made a lovely day. One of our Dreams was to swim under the waterfall, and we got a chance to do it here. Transportation was comfortable and efficient, and the lunch was delicious. Would highly recommend this tour and also this tour company.

Ashiq Aswar is a superb tour guide! Him and Rizni took my family around on a tour of Colombo that included shopping and then a tour of the outskirts of a bee farm, spice gardens a private tour visiting and riding elephants. We had a great lunch in a clean and air-conditioned restaurant. The van was clean and comfortable. They picked us up and dropped us back. This trip was actually in the early part of last year in spring, but the calendar on Trip Advisor only goes back to summer of last year. They were very attentive, very caring and personable. I would highly recommend Ashiq and Kingfisher tours to anyone visiting Colombo, Sri Lanka ????????

I booked this class as I wanted to know more about Sri Lankan dance styles- and I got much more by learning so much about Sri Lankan culture as well. The class was very good, experienced and learned basic steps and hand moves, and got to play the drum as well! The organizers are professional and the ladies are absolutely fabulous! If you have the chance you definitely should try this.
