This is the birth place of one of the legendary heros of India - Maha Rana Pratap and it has world's second largest wall after Great Wall of China - this fort's boundary wall spans 36 KM. Beautifully constructed fort has various interesting facts and its top is at such height that you feel like flying in air as winds blows without any interruption at the top. Must visit if your nearby. Lot of walking required so be ready for good exercise Guides are all private and you need to bargain and can reach price of INR 400-450 Very old temple also inside the fort, so you may want to pay tribute to Kul Devi of Kumbhal Dynasty

Visiting holy place is always a treasure, having the virtue without hardship never be remembered, if you visit from Kumbhalgarh it is hiking by trail to reach this holy place. When we reached to the cave temple we found so peacefulness and it is having true story of representation of tenacity performed by Parshuramji Lord Shankar-Parvati manifested this holy place, it’s worth visiting the place as we look to do hiking the trail and the holy place, but those who love to visit easy way there is another route is from Ranakpur. We have visited on the day of Holi to this place and had Prasad of “Bhaang” by temple and we had great time spent to this place! Must visit this lovely place to bless by Lord Shankar-Parvati!

A very old idol of Mahavir Swami, the food and rooms are excellent. It is just a few mins from the main highway.

Mamadev Temple is located next to Vedi temple. The Temple has three shrine and each Shrine has flat roofed sanctum and mandap with pillars. You can also see two chariots which are placed in the memory of Maha Rana Pratap and Prithiviraj Chouhan. There is a holy water kund (Pond) which was also water reservoir of the fort.

After visiting the main fort, this temple is on the Right side after entering by Ram pole, there are number of temples in clusters in close proximity, Veda temple complex comes first, biggest and really nice stone carvings here.. Vedi Temple is a Jain temple constructed by Rana Kumbha in 1457 AD. Renovated by Maharana Fateh Singh, it is located near the Hanuman Pol of the Kumbhalgarh Fort. Constructed to honour the sacrifice of the pilgrims, it is the only leftover among all sacrificial places in the country. After Kumbhalgarh Fort construction completed, Rana Kumbha needed a place for performing rituals. He made Vedi Temple to perform rituals. Vedi Temple architecture is marvelous and constructed on 36 pillars in octagonal shape which are spporting the domical ceiling. Temple is on a high platform and a double storeyed architectured. As history provides, the temple was made to perform sacred rituals followed by the Jain community. In terms of structure, it stands atop 36 pillars forming an octagonal shape pattern. The double storied temple is open to all and engulfs you into an envelope of positivity and goodness. Besides this temple. It is recognized, protected and maintained by the Archaeological Survey of India. There are more temples built at the foothills of the fort.
