A beautiful setting, flexible tasting options, a choice of tables inside or out, very good wine served by friendly and well-versed staff; what more could one ask? Be sure to include the Tin Mine Blends in your tasting list; named after a unique (in the Cape) historic enterprise on the estate. (We drove around looking for the remains of the workings, but couldn't find them!) A winery we definitely recommend.

It is a picturesque wine estate featuring breathtaking views over the Table Mountain, a game farm, a guest house, the Cattle Baron Grill Room, and is in close proximity to Cape Town. From a wine-making perspective it is unique, being able to produce both excellent white and red wines. Tasting Room is open 7 days a week and offers a wide variety of exceptional wines to sample and purchase.

My girlfriend and I arrived at the wine tasting centre late afternoon. We were given a very friendly welcome from Nola. The whole tasting experience was handled in a very professional manner and without rush. Her enthusiasm about the products they offer kept us there for a long time... so much so that we eventually left 15min after closing time. Oops! We do a lot of wine tastings and this was certainly one of our best experiences so far :)
