The cultural hub of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur is visually defined by the iconic Petronas Twin Towers, which, at 88 stories high, are the tallest twin buildings in the world and a vision of modern architecture. On the flip side, the Sri Mahamariamman is the oldest Hindu temple in Malaysia, its façade a colorful totem pole of iconography. No trip to KL would be complete without a visit to the world's tallest twin towers. The skyscrapers are utterly stunning, particularly when illuminated at night. The Twin Towers Visit Operations is open Tuesday through Sunday and tickets are released at 8:30 a.m. on a first-come, first-served basis. To avoid disappointment, you can purchase your ticket in advance via online ticketing or at the Ticketing Counter, Concourse Level.

Royal Selangor Visitor Centre is the go-to place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to experience pewter, both as a beautiful piece to be admired and as a craft. Wander through intriguing museum exhibits and witness real-time pewter crafting and end your tour with hands-on pewtersmithing workshops. Royal Selangor Visitor Centre is recognised as one of the top tourist attractions in Kuala Lumpur, winning the Traveller's Choice Award by TripAdvisor in 2015.
Second tome to this pewter factory so we just got a taxi to it and was greeted by a very nice guide Gloria who know we were on a tight schedule so gave us our very own tour, she was very informative and quite funny which is always nice. We bought numerous items in the shop which we had planned to get all done in half an hour which was fantastic, great work Gloria ????

This ornate Chinese temple dedicated to the Queen of Heaven, Thean Hou, protectorate of people who make their living from the sea. The temple borrows from Buddhist, Taoist and Confucian traditions. Some visitors believe the panoramic views of KL alone make the trip up the hill worthwhile.
What a total opposite to the disgraceful dump that is the Hindu Batu Caves that we visited earlier in the day . It is amazing how different religions and attitudes can be so different This beautiful temple is immaculately maintained and has a peaceful ambiance . Set on a hill top it has stunning views across the city . Grab a Grab and make this one of your must sees whilst in KL.

We are not Muslims so we didn't quite know what to expect - but we were soon astounded by the history, the artefacts, the architecture and the mosaical patterns that belong to no other race/religion . The world of Islam stands by itself - it is VERY different from the European Western character we were used to - Islamic art, writings, clothing, rugs, ceremonial weapons, pottery and silverware has an ambience all of its own. There is an entrance fee. The building is air-conditioned, there is a restaurant and there are three floors in a huge complex. Nearby is the National Mosque of Malaysia.

The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre is Malaysia’s premier award-winning purpose-built facility and Asia’s only AIPC (International Association of Congress Centres) Gold Standard venue. Located in the heart of the Kuala Lumpur City Centre integrated precinct, the venue offers over 22,000sqm of flexible function space. Overlooking the iconic PETRONAS Twin Towers and 50-acre KLCC Park, delegates and visitors attending events at the Centre have a varied range of recreational, entertainment, food & beverage and accommodation options within the 100-acre ‘city within a city’ KLCC development.
I visited the KLCC Convention Centre to attend an international trade fair / expo. The place itself was clean and secure, and had all the basics and amenities that were typical of any venues for trade fairs. What was exceptional was the location. It was right in the city center, within the immediate vicinity of the iconic Petronas Towers and KLCC Park. Steps ahead was the Aquaria KLCC. Thus, major tourist attractions were right beside the venue, Any visitor could just enjoy a late afternoon or evening stroll in the park and enjoy the views after attending whatever event that was being held in the convention center, and later on have a good meal and shopping spree at the Suria KLCC.

Interactive science museum for kids, located in the Petronas Towers.
This place is on Level 4 of Petronas Towers. When we arrived there was a school group in front of us and we thought it may make our experience longer than normal. Except for the beginning, it wasn't an issue. Cost when we were there was 28 MYR per person. At the beginning you are taken on a small cart on wheels and they step you through some technology over different areas of Malaysia's history. You are the dropped into the exhibition area. There are 11 exhibits to see. Space, Time Tunnel, Geotime Diorama, Science Station, Sparkz, Oil Platform, Speed, Molecule Nano World, Future Energy and 3D Theatre. There is a Cafe about 1/2 way through which stocks basic snacks and coffee at a reasonable price. After 2 hours we had only done 1/2 of the exhibitions. We rushed the last bit and had already spent 3.5 hours there. Could of spent 4-5 hours.
