We visited Kremnica two weeks ago. It's a nice historic town for us, Hungarians, we have a common history. It was very rich and famous town for its gold mines. In the centre you can find the well kept Main square with nice old buildings, museums, restaurants etc. In the middle of the park there is a plague memorial: the Holy Trinity Column from 1777 and an old stone fountain. On the north-west side you can find the famous "Mincovna" , Mint, where golden coins and medals were made. You can walk around it and go to the Castle and St Catherine Church. It's a must-see attraction.

This town has a beautiful centre with old buildings and a nice park. Nearby there's the castle. You must buy tickets for 3 EUR but it's worths. We climbed to the tower (227 steps) and the view was fantastic. We took lots of pictures (you mustn't take pictures inside). This place has a special atmosphere, we went back in the past.
