Explore magical winter resort Kranjska Gora and enjoy the natural beauty of the Alps, while engaging in winter sports or adrenaline activities. Be amazed by nature at its finest in Planica and explore historic buildings of Kranjska Gora. Enjoy food tasting of traditional Slovenian dishes during an optional lunch in cozy local restaurant. Become part of the region, known for its sporting opportunities and get in the thick of the action with one of the recreational pursuits available. First stop on this amazing trip will be Kranjska Gora, a small ski resort famous as the traditional setting of downhill skiing World Cup competitions. Have a nice walk to picturesque Jasna Lake and enjoy a cup of coffee with an amazing view over the Julian Alps. Visit the Liznjek House, the farmhouse which was the richest homestead in Kranjska Gora and today operates as an ethnographic museum with rich original furnishing and great presentation of the living conditions a few hundred years ago. After a traditional Slovenian lunch, we will take you to the beautiful lake Zelenci. The fairytale lake does not freeze in the winter, because of the constant temperature throughout the year, which is about 6 degrees and is also a home to numerous endangered animal and plant species. After Zelenci it is time to experience the magic of world-famous mountain valley, where the first ever ski flying hill was built in 1969 and where numerous world records for the longest ski flights were set – Planica Nordic Centre. Departure at 8 AM from Ljubljana and at 8:45 AM from Bled. Our day starts with an easy hike to Peričnik waterfall. Peričnik is Slovenian hidden gem and it is even nicer in the winter season when everything around is frozen. We continue our way to Kranjska Gora where we make a stop at crystal clear Jasna lake where you can spot fabulous Goldhorn. Next stop is at nature reserve Zelenci, which is a spring of Slovenian longest river Sava and offers breathtaking landscape. Our trip continues with observing of Planica Nordic centre. Planica is home to Slovenian ski jumping tradition with biggest ski jumping slope. From here we hike to valley of Tamar. Throughout the hike, you can enjoy beautiful views of Slovenian Alps and in the end, you can enjoy traditional Slovenian lunch at a mountain hut in the valley. We continue to our neighbouring country Italy where we make last stop at Laghi di Fusine which offer stunning scenery. After that, we return to your departure point.

We were picked up at the bus stop near our apartment on time. The van was comfort enough. Our driver was Alenka. She was really a good driver and tour guide. She explained everything we need to know and arranged the time perfectly. So we didn't need to rush at every spots, including enough lunch time to taste the traditional food. We were the last group to be picked up. Then we start our trip to Vintgar Gorge. Alenka said we should to arrive early to avoid crowd. And it was true. When we come there were only a few people. We took a walk along the gorge for half an hour. The view was very amazing. When we walk back there were more visitor. Good decision to put Vintgar Gas as the first destination. Then we continued to Bled. We visited the church at Bled Island by using boat which including in the package. We have enough time as well to take some pictures at the lake's edge including at the photo spot with heart shaped. Alenka also suggested us some restaurants and we chose a restaurant which sale local food. The meeting point was also easy to find. After lunch we went to Predjama Castle. The castle was amazing and need long enough time to explore all spots inside the castle. There were some steepy access and stairs as well so we should to use comfort shoes. Our last destination was Postojna Cave. And again it was a good arrangement because the cave was less crowded and we were the last group entering the cave that day. We finish the trip and asked Alenka to drop us near Dragon Bridge to explore another great spot in Ljubljana in the evening.

Would highly recommend this tour to anybody. Thanks Tara!

For me and my boyfriend it was the first time we try any kind of canyoning and, my god, let me tell you what a great, adrenaline full experience it is. At the beginning we were quite afraid of what it will happen (because we are both a bit of a "pussies" when it come to height), but our guide Jani made us feel very save and on top of that he was super funny. We laugh all the way trough. Jani guided us to some big jumps and some fun, fun, fun slides. Even though, we went canyoning at the end of September, when it"s already a bit cooler, and river has 8 degrees, we got some quality wet- suits so u really can not get cold (beside being really heated up by the adrenaline). I would highly recommend this to everyone who wants to have fun on a bit different way.I can guarantee you will have the best, craziest day you will remember for a very long time. P.S. Book a tour with taken photos and videos so.. you know, you can"t use your mobile there for photos, and for sure this experience deserve to be photographed!
