Krakow is one of the most culturally and politically significant cities in Poland. It was the central site of the Nazi General Government during WWII, and there’s still a residual feeling of solemnity here that’s especially apparent during visits to the Plaszow Concentration Camp and the Oskar Schindler Factory. Both the Historic City Centre and the Jewish District are brimming with cafés, shops, and pubs, and the 10-acre Main Market Square is a medieval feast for the senses.

Sababa means great. We are coctail bar in the heart of Cracow's Kazimierz. Tasteful cocktails, beautiful interiors, great stuff and gentle music in the rooms. Welcome at Sababa!
This bar is very cool and the staff is really friendly. The cocktails are really good and you can order any cocktail you want based on your preferences. We even got a good-bye shot from the bartender at the end (he drank one shot with us). The prices are really cheap for european standards. Highly recommended!

BARaWINO once and for all debunks the myth elitist and snotty wine drinkers. The wine shop-cum-bar was started by Marek Kondrat, one of the most famous Polish actors and now also sommelier with a big love of wine. He wanted to create a place, which would be friendly for all people interested in wine, no matter if professionals, or amateurs. BARaWINO is a place made for those who draw pure enjoyment of having a glass of good wine. The crew is a group of passionate wine lovers who would be happy to answer all questions concerning wine, from the origin of grapes, through the methods of making the beverage, to describing the whole wine aroma spectrum. When you're in a hurry, they will help you choose the wine that fits the occasion or the food. They just know how to get you into the wine world.
This was recommended by the ‘Porter and Sail’ app from our hotel and it definitely didn’t disappoint. At first, we thought it looked a little quiet however there were many tables reserved so looked like needed to book for a Saturday evening. The carafe of house white wine was lovely and we sampled their mixed cheese platter which had cheeses from Poland, Italy and France. The only downside to this was the cheeses were not explained when they arrived so couldn’t buy them in the future but still lovely with the wine.
