Krakow is one of the most culturally and politically significant cities in Poland. It was the central site of the Nazi General Government during WWII, and there’s still a residual feeling of solemnity here that’s especially apparent during visits to the Plaszow Concentration Camp and the Oskar Schindler Factory. Both the Historic City Centre and the Jewish District are brimming with cafés, shops, and pubs, and the 10-acre Main Market Square is a medieval feast for the senses.

How much space is in an Igloo? Can a peace pipe be smoked in tipi? Do highlanders live in South America? Villages of the World invite all those who want to relax from the urban hustle and bustle, to experience something outstanding, learn unusual things and move in time and space to places that capture imagination.

A beatiful and informative Botanical Gardens, a short walk from Old Town
This is a beautiful place. Calm, tranquil, and an oasis in the summer heat. Very reasonable entrance fee and there’s also a lovely cafe which serves drinks, cakes and ice cream. Would definitely go back.

Find Zakrzowek on Google images and You'll know you want to see it. It's a huge body of water made in old quarry. Only local people know it and love it. It's huge, beautiful, with crystal water, surrounded with park and rocks with amazing views, you'd never expect something like this in the very heart of Cracow. Best place to rest, appreciate nature, take some sunbath, meet local people and students.
My friends and I simply loved this place. Good for swimming, tanning, hiking, drinking, picnic. It's just so pretty!
