I came here in January and it was blissfully empty. As though you are walking around in a world of your own. It is the perfect place to 'forest bath' and de-stress. I think you can walk around here for hours and still not find everything.

The history of the castle dates back to the first half of the fifteenth century, and its current form we owe to Tytus Działyński and reconstruction from the mid-nineteenth century in the style of English neo gothic. The castle is located near Lake Kórnicki, on an island surrounded by a moat.A great castle with a good collection of artifacts. Inside are beautiful floor spread out over different rooms. Walking inside the castle will take about one hour. The architecture is spectacular. Maybe it is not the most beautiful castle you will visit, but after your visit you will be very glad you have done so.Kórnik Castle is worth visiting especially for the arboretum, which is one of the largest in Europe, with over 3300 species of trees and shrubs in a seemingly endless expanse of space. You could lose yourself in the acres and acres of magnificent trees and complete peace. You could spend hours and not see it all, and it is amazingly beautiful . It is breathtaking. It's recommended to visit the garden in spring or autumn. There is a parking space right in front of the castle.
