Aguri Kubokawa is a roadside station in Shimanto Town located in western Kochi Prefecture, and it is along the National Route 56. It is directly off the Shimanto Town Chuo Interchange on the Kochi Expressway, and it is only five minutes by car from the JR Kubokawa Station. Shimanto Town is blessed with an abundance of mountains, rivers, and the sea. Visitors can enjoy local restaurants, a milk workshop, and a marketplace that sells local specialty goods. We would particularly like to have visitors try the steamed bun with minced pork filling ("butaman") made at our own factory, and a pork bowl that won the gold award for four straight years in the National Bowl Grand Prix. At the milk workshop, we sell handmade ice cream using raw milk directly procured from dairy farmers. At the marketplace of local specialty goods, a variety of products are sold ranging from souvenirs and original products of Kochi Prefecture and Shimanto Town, as well as fresh vegetables, fruits and handicraft.
