My family of 4 went took a class with Mina and her sister back in January 2021. We stayed at the Paradise resort which is further away so we rented some scooters to be able to get ourselves around. It was really easy to make a booking and we were able to specify all of the things that we wanted to cook (private class). Mina speaks English very well, we learned so much from her lessons and stories! We learned about the ingredients, how to make coconut milk and cream straight from the coconut, and how to makes the pastes for yellow, green, and massaman curries from scratch. The whole experience was educational and more importantly really fun, Mina and her sister were both wonderful! This course might be a little more expensive than other cooking classes in the area, but (at the very least compared to any of the resort options) I'd have to say this is a much more authentic and fulfilling experience and 100% worth the cost (and more). As others have said, it was the best food we ate on the island.

Big thanks to Didi and Anne - I spent 5 days on the island with my family and we visited them almost every day. Between us we have facials, body and foot massages etc and they were all great. Massages were esecially good after training at KYN gym. The ladies themselves are wonderful and made us feel like family. I will definately be visiting them again on my next visit.

The last time I visited Koh Yao Noi I already went to Cape Spa and was very impressed - however, this time it was even bettter! I love the design of the rooms paired with very competent staff at a reasonable price. To sum up: great massage experience!

Island Yoga is a yoga retreat centre on peaceful Koh Yao Noi in Phangna Bay in Southern Thailand. We offer yoga retreats lasting anywhere from 4 days to several weeks, starting at any time during the season with our unique 'rolling retreats' concept. Island Yoga teachers provide classes based on Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin yoga for Asana (physical poses), Pranayama (breathing techniques) and meditation. Weekly workshops are also available as well as drop in yoga during peak season. We also use the outdoors as an environment in which to expand our the spiritual experience with rock climbing, kayaking and other outdoor activity trips on a weekly basis. Island Yoga is the perfect escape from the more touristy, busy parts of Thailand.

This place is very special! The atmosphere at this place is very nice and the staff is unusual welcomming. Altso the other guest are very nice and contribute in a perfect way to the pleasent atmosphere at this place. We came as yoga beginners and felt in love with the yoga practise immediately. We stayed one week at this place and afterwards we were moving on to a more luxery resort at the same Island. But after 3 days at the luxery resort we missed the yoga practise and the nice atmosphere at Island Yoga so much, that we changed our plans and moved back to Island Yoga to spend the last couple of days at our vacasion. We didn't regret our decision at all! Thank you so much to David, Betty, Dimitri and Antonella for making our yoga experience so special and to Ning, Sin and the rest of the staff for making the homely and cosy atmosphere. We will definately continue the yoga and meditation practice in our everyday life after we have discovered how much is affect the body and the mind in a possitive way.

We had a great swim at this beach today. Its quiet and rustic was a lovely soft sandy bottom. The water was crystal clear with warm currents. There was lots of places with out rock so our two kids loved it. Also no jellyfish were spotted. A beautiful beach.

We stopped in this shop to get a few souvenirs for friends/family and absolutely loved it. Prices are great and there is such a good variety of products. The store owner is great and my favorite part is when he pointed out that we both have the same Harry Potter tattoo. Our trip was actually is December of 2018 but I just came across his card and thought I should write a little something for him!

My husband and I had Thai massage and coconut oil massage for 1 hour each. Price was very reasonable at 900THB total. My massage therapist had excellent technique (actually one of the best I have been to in Thailand). The spa closes quite early (on Saturday at 7pm) so it is advisable to book before heading there to avoid disappointment.
