Known for its markets and its striking 19th-century limestone architecture, Kingston is a great base for exploring the Thousand Islands and the St. Lawrence River and its national park. Visit Wolfe Island on the free ferry, or hunt for antiques in nearby villages.

An escape room game is a live action adventure, where you are challenged to use creative and lateral thinking to solve your way out of a locked room. At Improbable Escapes, our games are 60 minutes of intense and unique puzzles in which you must work with your team to try and escape before the buzzer goes off. We pride ourselves on having family friendly games, and have private bookings to ensure you have the most fun with your team!
We went for a team building exercise and it was great. The escape experience really promotes collaboration, teamwork with a sense of urgency that has to be calmed with patience and analytical thinking. The staff are great and the rooms are challenging. If you can go, you should!

Such a fun experience for a great price! I booked The Lair virtual escape with a group of coworkers and can't recommend it enough. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. They were able to adapt the experience to tailor to our needs on a short notice. It was such an engaging and interactive activity, and the feedback from my coworkers was overwhelmingly positive. I couldn't recommend this experience enough!

Kingston Axe Throwing specializes in entertainment. Our team loves to have fun, but also takes axe throwing seriously. We believe in having an awesome time and making sure each guest has a memorable experience.
My girlfriend and I took our three young children to the club on a Sunday afternoon and were greeted by the instructor/host whose name is Pat. His enthusiasm for the sport was contagious, and made for an absolutely super couple of hours. He was great with the kids and a complete professional. I strongly recommend Kingston's Axe Throwing for a family activity. Our youngest child is eight and instructor Pat earned our complete confidence for our boy to axe throw.

Classic movies, first run movies and genre movies on the big screen for $6, $8 or $9 - I love this small venue, downtown, funky cinema - good popcorn and coffee
As lovers of independent films and independent cinemas we were thrilled to find The Screening Room when we came to Kingston. If you're looking for something a world away from massive multiscreens and same old, same old big bash Holywood films then head here PDQ! The staff at The Screening Room are friendly and helpful, the selection of films covers such great variety, and you can also enjoy delicious real-butter-popcorn ... yummy! Admittedly it is rather different since Covid-19 hit, with much smaller audiences and strict guidelines for attendance, but The Screening Room is carefully following all provincial and municipal Covid protocols and we ourselves have adapted to buying our tickets online ahead of time. We have been to see films here again several times since re-opening under pandemic condtions, and we definitely feel safe in this space with strict social distancing, mask-wearing, etc. I encourage people to become members of The Screening Room - the small fee for membership quickly repays you and also supports keeping independent thought alive and well here in Kingston.

This new theatre is very clean, the chairs are comfortable, you pick where you want to sit and the price was very good for a matinee.

Handmade Pottery, Supplies & Classes. Stop into one of Canada's largest functioning production potteries. Have a tour of the facility, sign up for a workshop or organize a private class.
Love the classes, always knowledgeable staff and I always find a cool new tool or glaze. Great for beginners or experienced potters.

We recently went to this facility for the Canadian Brier Championships. Wonderful facility able to accommodate a lot of people. Clean washrooms....seats a little hard after a couple of hours. Overall, a great facility to see events with lots of nearby eating and drinking establishments!

Glow in the Dark Mini-Putt, Laser Tag, the Vault Laser Maze Challenge, Arcades, Team Building and Birthday Parties.Fun for all ages!
We had an excellent time! We started with mini putt first (which I would suggest doing). It was clean and the music gave it a fun atmosphere. Then on to laser tag. It was a lot of fun and a great work out which is why I recommend doing it last. You come out a little sweaty:) Highly recommend this place for some family fun.
