This state park is extremely unique and one of the most inclusive parks in Tennessee. There is a sensory braille trail that tells the story of Narnia, as well as a Boundless playground. This park is also home to one of the most renowned mountain biking trails in Tennessee. A treehouse and amphitheater are some other main attractions. More information on this park and many more can be found at the TN State Parks website.
This is a great park. Worth your while if you are visiting bigger areas like the Smokeys! Free to enter! Remember park closes at sundown. There is in-park camping sites available. Great walking loop for walking, biking, and jogging around. Picnic areas up on elevation and give you a fantastic view. There is a boat ramp for all larger boats to access the water and plenty of places to put in a kayak or canoe. Lots of fishing happening as well. Being local our favorite thing to do is pop in for a few walks around the loop with our 2 year old. Once Covid is behind us there is a really well done playground to take advantage of too, we are excited for that!

Wonderful performances at an affordable price and always with a Christian message. We've visited as a couple, with friends, and also in a group taking our Youth group from church. Always a fun evening.

The Kingsport Greenbelt Kingsport Well maintained paved trail that runs west to east from Orbank Road at Exchange place to the bridge that crosses the Holston River on Netherland Inn Road, approximatley 9 miles. The trail is susceptible to flooding during heavy rain and mud can cover the trail in certain areas so be aware to dress appropriately if you go after a storm. A new connector is currently being built at the western end that connects to Cleek Road. You can find a map of the greenbelt online.
