I would highly recommend Tilney Sports, we went today for our first time and played disc golf and it was such a fun day out we will defiantly be returning to do this again and the foot golf on site too. Great facilities onsite and David was very friendly.

Welcome to one of King's Lynn most beautiful buildings, The Majestic Cinema. This stunning cinema was officially opened on 23rdMay 1928; with the year commemorated in the stained glass windows at the front of the building. As an independent cinema, the Majestic prides itself on being a friendly place to come for all movie goers. The main attraction to the Majestic, beside its films, is the building itself and all the history that comes with it. Today, the Majestic has three screens but back when it was first opened the Majestic had one two tier screen (where Screen 1 and 2 are now), and a ballroom (where Screen 3 is now). Over the years the Majestic has transformed but features from its past still live on within the building. You just need to know where to look. When you next visit the Majestic look out for certain features like the stained glass windows in the main entrance, the circle of zodiac signs in the ceiling of Screen 1, the bouncy spring-layered floor in Screen 3, and the old stage in Screen 2. Every year the Majestic takes part in King's Lynn's Heritage Day where you have the chance to explore the cinema in more detail and to learn about the buildings past. The Majestic puts on tours with knowledgeable staff always willing to guide you through its history. Currently, the Majestic has three screens. Screen 1, with its ornate dome, seats 313. Screen 2, which holds 245 seats. This screen has disabled access and also has a superior quality hearing loop system. Screen 3 holds 113 seats and was originally the ballroom which closed 1977. All of our screens now have Dolby Digital 7.1 surround sound installed.
Lovely cinema - located in the heart of the town centre. Not great for mobility disabled customers ( unless you see a film in screen 1 ,there are 3 screens) as there isnt a lift to the upper floors. Probably a listed building so probably changing the building isnt a viable option. That said the management are superb in doing all they can to assist you. Long time since I encountered this level of personal customer care. screens and sound are great, obviously not upto the massive VUE cinemas, but Majestic offer something they don't.. that traditional cinema warm feel. latest films shown and prices are reasonable. Downside is that small kids cant see over the seatbacks too well so boosters are available. Lovely local cinema and well worth supporting them. Some customers do leave a mess behind them even though staff are available at the end of the film with binbahgs, such a shame some show a lack of respect, again this is a comment on some 'customers' and not the cinema. We love you majestic!
