They say that fresh air and exercise is a good way to keep away from the virus so this is a great way to keep safe. The walks of varying lengths allow you to combine forest paths with spectacular views over Strangford Lough. There is a large car park but it can fill up at the weekend. However the long paths and grass areas allow for social distancing. For children there is a miniature steam train ride which looks a lot of fun. The restaurant is currently closed inside but serves coffee, ice-cream etc via a hatch.
3. Action Outdoors Activity Provider
Based in Delamont Country Park, Action Outdoors is ideally situated for a family day out, with 200 acres of rolling parkland and woods on the shores of Strangford Lough and only 30 minutes from Belfast. We run over 20 activities, from abseiling to zip lines, and a year round programme of sessions and special events in various locations across County Down. We arrange tailor-made packages including multi-activity days, wilderness trips and corporate events.

I had a lovely meal and evening in the Dufferin Arms listening to a great guitarist / singer . I would highly recommend it and I will definitely be booking a table again.
