Golden palaces, floating markets, majestic porcelain-laid spires…you've never seen a capital city quite like Bangkok. Visit Pratunam or Siam Square for premium shopping, then unwind in the European-style gardens of Dusit. Thon Buri is home to the awesome Wat Arun temple, and over in Phra Nakhon, you’ll find the Wat Pho temple of the Reclining Buddha. Savor mango sticky rice at a food stall before taking in the gilded splendor of the Grand Palace.

On the ground floor between the Watsons farmacia and the MaxValu supermarket, there’s a tremendous vegan food booth - called ‘So Vegan’ / โลสีแกน - at which you can actively practise kindness to yourself, future generations, our fellow mammals and other sentient creatures, and the environment, while purchasing delicious and flavourful cruelty-free food. There are various options available. One can buy items individually - as is the custom among many Thais - or as part of single meal reusable boxes (composed of a selection of dishes with some healthy purple rice). I can guarantee that any customer will enjoy her purchase, and things are not expensive at all.

Excellent choices for Korean food. There are plenty of Korean restaurants and it is fairly busy at night. There was also a nice store in the back corner that sells Korean snacks and other goods. The Korean food is very authentic and there is a large variety, although the most popular restaurants are definitely the all you can eat BBQ restaurants. Location is easy to get to and it is very vibrant at night.
