What to do and see in Khatib, Singapore: The Best Things to do

November 15, 2021 Alida England

The Singapore cityscape looks like it was ripped from the pages of a science fiction comic book. If you’re hungry for a true Singapore experience, sample the myriad street foods or take a cultural cooking class. The Botanic Gardens and the Gardens By the Bay offer a slice of horticultural heaven, and the observation deck of the Sands SkyPark makes you feel like you’re high above the clouds. The banks and walkways along the Singapore River bustle with local activity.

The Live Turtle and Tortoise Museum

Reviewed By Q544HKclairef - Margaret River, Australia

Tucked away in the Chinese Gardens, is a delightful surprise. The Live Turtle and Tortoise Museum was well worth the $5 SGD admission (admission to the Gardens is free). You can see many species up close and personal. Many I had never seen in my life despite growing up in Florida. Children can have the opportunity to even feed and interact with the turtles which appears a lot of fun for them. A wonderful break for families who are looking for a natural setting away from attractions. And easy MRT ride on the Green line to Chinese Gardens. There are areas to get snacks and drinks. And the Gardens has plenty of toilets and water fountains. A wonderful adult or family outing destination.
