Stopped here along our Door County travels, on the way up from Illinois, at the recommendation of our daughter and son-in-law who enjoyed this winery while on their honeymoon. Glad we stopped - friendly service at the counter, great (and reasonable) tasting, and we found a couple of wines (red and white) that we really enjoyed. One was from a local Wisconsin vineyard (Captain's Walk Sauvignon Blanc), that my husband enjoyed so much that I eventually ended up ordering a case as a Birthday gift for him after we returned home. Scenic drive also from Cold Country over to the Door.

We had a group of friends out with us for a few hours here during their Summer Concert Series. Beautiful day on a wonderful new property. Drove in passing the rows of vines and enjoyed the friendly staff and owners. Many samples and bottles later we had some great memories. The ice wine was a hit and a handful of bottles went home with our group. Door 44 was a fun part of our Door County Wine Tour. Looking forward to another visit!

The Ludington is in dock in Kewaunee harbor near the lighthouse. It actually participated in D-Day. You can visit the ship and the view from the lighthouse across Lake Michigan is stunning.
