Fantastic afternoon at Bugsys bowling. The staff were amazing and everything was set out so well to keep you covid safe. It was so nice to have some fun with my family, knowing we were all in a safe clean environment! Top Marks to Bugsys we will definitely come again!!

Went last night with my two children for their New Years Eve bowling event and was totally brilliant. All of the staff worked hard, were all totally helpful, the pink pin games were fun, music brilliant, and everyone had a good time. The staff made new years eve brilliant and for 64.00 with 2 free prosecco, unlimited bowling from 9pm to 1am, 1 x free alcoholic drink and 2 x non alcoholic for my kids plus unlimited tortillas was totally good value. Would definitely come back to this event again as well as coming back for normal bowling.

Had a whale of a time in the arcade, felt so bad because we made the Spongebob machines run out of tokens and cards four times but Megan was absolutely lovely and happy to help out! Also loved the crossy road and packman smash games. I've been bowling here multiple times as well, always a great experience.

Went on a Thursday, bought a 'midweek madness' deal which gives you 2 games of bowling plus a free alcoholic or soft drink which is pretty superb value. Don't really understand negative reviews, service was very friendly and helpful, all done with care regarding social distancing measures and the equipment worked without issue. Obviously it could do with a lick of paint but for the price you pay I really don't think you can complain.

I've seen a few older reviews on here and have decided to provide an update, or at least my experiences. I've been going regularly since the new year, taking bowling as a new hobby. In terms of the inside looks, the decor, seating etc. is the same as it has been when I visited in the past (10+ years ago), however this has no influence on the actual activity in question and investing in renovating this would not be cheap. The most important thing is the lanes, which are perfectly acceptable. Like any bowling alley, there can be pin issues from time to time (very rare), this can happen everywhere you go and if it's not happened to you at an alternative location, you've been very lucky, or you've not played enough! Ownership has changed a few times, however hopefully these are here to stay. The staff are always quick to free a pin to get your ball back, re-rack the pins should anything go wrong and will happily move you to an another lane upon request (even if there are no issues). I've not yet had food from here, so am unable to comment on this, however the drinks are reasonably priced and they have a very large range of house balls to choose from. Staff are great in providing help/advice, such as information relating to the leagues that they run. Sundays-Thursdays 6PM-close is when they offer fully unlimited bowling (£10 pp), so if you're looking to get good value for money, that's the perfect time to go. If you're looking to go at alternative times, or for a fewer amount of games, they have plenty of other offers available on their website. Can't really fault the location in any way, you won't find bowling anywhere else cheaper.... unless you've got your own lane in the back garden!
