Walk the Freedom Trail the first time you visit Boston and you'll quickly get a sense of this coastal city's revolutionary spirit and history. But make sure you also explore some of Boston's fine museums (try the Isabella Stewart Gardner, featuring masterpieces displayed in their collector's mansion) and old neighborhoods (like the North End, Boston's Little Italy). You can't claim to have experienced real Boston culture, though, until you've watched a Red Sox game from the bleachers.

The Red Sox Team Store across from Fenway Park. Open year round and has the largest selection of Red Sox merchandise anywhere!
Always crowded on game days, lots of merchandise, some you can find only at Fenway. Easy to spend a couple of hundred without picking up a whole, but hey it's worth it right...? From Red Sox socks to knick knacks, to a wide variety of shirts, hoodies, jackets, hats and jerseys. It can all be found here on Yawkey way. And if you got a lot of "extra" cash there is plenty of game used memorabilia as well.
