We are a small pub with a big reputation. We are proud to serve the full range of Timothy Taylor's ales, and a selection of specialty gins and malt whiskies. Come and join us in one of Keighleys smallest and coziest pubs. Two minutes walk from Keighley station, the Boltmakers Arms is a must visit for beer lovers in Yorkshire.
A real hidden gem in Keighley! Good old fashioned pub with the friendliest of people and quality beer. The landlady made us feel really welcome from the second we arrived. Would definitely re-visit! #dogfriendly #qualitybeer

The Black Bull in Haworth can trace its history back to a 16th century coaching inn. The current pub is situated next to the Anglican Church of Haworth. It is famous the world over as the home of the Bronte’s. In September 1792 it became the seat of the Lodge of the Three Graces Haworth 408 and the Freemasons met here until July 1806 before moving to Lodge Street. The original masonic seat used by Branwell Bronte still resides on the staircase of the Black Bull along with the spirit of the man himself. Branwell, although brilliant, didn’t share the same success as his sisters and tried and failed to hold down several jobs. He attended the Royal Academy in London but this came to nothing as did several of his other later ventures. These included being a portrait painter, a clerk at Sowerby Bridge railway station and a tutor. However, he was proposed as a Freemason and joined the Lodge of the Three Graces Haworth 408 in February 1836 and became secretary in 1837 till 1842.
Stopped here after visiting the Bronte museum for lunch. I ordered the Vegan burger which may have been one of the best vegan burgers I've ever had! Also, I requested mayo to go with my chips. I didn't request vegan mayo as didn't want to be awkward but the friendly server brought me vegan mayo anyway! And the staff were so friendly. Very pleased! Highly recommend.

We ate here yesterday lunchtime. We don’t live in the area and I was initially quite hesitant because it falls into a region with stricter lockdown measures, at the moment. There was plenty of outdoor seating, tables all spaced out, plenty of room in between. It’s table service, even outside, which made life easier and safer. All the staff were wearing masks, even outside. We were served quickly and the food and drinks followed quickly too. The pasta was delicious. Really recommend that dish. A different waitress went round to each table to collect track and trace information, which again, was good to see. The pub was very busy outside but because of the impressive systems put in place, we felt completely comfortable and at ease for the whole of our visit. It was all just very impressive. The food, the service and the care and attention taken to ensure customer safety. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back. Thank you to all the staff for making us feel this way.
