Kedah (Malay pronunciation: [kəˈdɑh]; Jawi: قدح), also known by its honorific Darul Aman or "Abode of Peace", is a state of Malaysia, located in the northwestern part of Peninsular Malaysia. The state covers a total area of over 9,000 km², and it consists of the mainland and Langkawi. The mainland has a relatively flat terrain, which is used to grow rice. Langkawi is an archipelago of islands, most of which are uninhabited. Kedah was called Kadaram (Tamil: கடாரம்; kadāram) by ancient and medieval Tamil people and Syburi (Thai: ไทรบุรี; RTGS: Sai Buri) by the Siamese when it was under their influence.

Designed with a classic coastal architecture at the forefront, Splash Out Langkawi, set amidst 12 acres, offers 12 slides and rides with a never-ending escapade of spills and thrills for everyone. Located in Kuah Town, 8 minutes (3.1 kilometres) from the Jetty Point Duty Free and 23 minutes (16.4 kilometres) from the Langkawi International Airport, Splash Out is the isle's latest attraction.
Our ferry from Koh Lipe arrived into Langkawi Kuah ferry terminal at 1.30pm, and we had an afternoon to fill before our onward flight that evening, so decided to check out the waterpark. It was amazing! Everything is brand new. The slides are great - especially the big ones for 2-4 riders! There was also a really long lazy river, and a massive wave pool, with a great DJ playing all afternoon. The park was really quiet when we visited - not a single queue. Food was also great (we had southern fried chicken). It was also incredibly good value (GBP 15 entry fee!). Definitely worth a trip if you have a few hours to spare on Langkawi. It was also only 20 mins in a Grab taxi to the airport (which cost only GBP 1.30!!)

Discover the "The largest Crocodile Adventureland in Langkawi" with exciting Crocodilian Education Talk Show, Juvenile crocodile fishing & feeding. Get close up with different species of crocodiles in the world and snap photo with "live" Juvenile crocodile. Fill your day with fun, smiles and unforgettable memories! Crocodile Adventureland is located on the road to Teluk Datai Bay, about 32 miles north of Kuah. It is 20 hectares and is registered with the Convention on International Trade and Endangered Species. Locally, this park known as Taman Buaya Langkawi. Crocodile Adventureland is just one of the many attractions on the island of Langkawi. Crocodiles have always had a great attraction for children. Children can not get enough of these prehistoric looking animals to view and see how they live. Adults also get a kick when they see how crocodiles behave and fed in their natural environment. This is why the Crocodile Adventureland on Langkawi is a hit among adults and children.
Put together really well with literally hundreds of crocodiles, all sorts of exhibits and knowledgeable English-speaking guides(some trouble communicating occasionally, but always got the answer in the end). Between feeding the baby crocodiles, looking at genetic anomalies, a 15 plus foot croc sunbathing and dozens of 4-meter crocs walking and swimming around, the feeding shows and stunt shows, plus a free meal for a very reasonably priced ticket(you can stay there all day if you like), I can't give less than five stars.
