The architecture of theatre is fantastic. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The artists of theatre are great professional. But there is something wrong with dress code.

Take the cable car ride up. Enjoy the many attractions that include the 'upside down house', ferris wheel, bungee jumping, luge, car rides for kids, escape room, mini zoo, house of pets, bumper cars, and many more!! All well maintained and relatively well-priced. When hungry, there are several restaurants to select from including a casual burger place, a grilled food restaurant, a japanese restaurant and a kazakh restaurant. Food at Abay restaurant is excellent and the view of the city from the restaurant is breathtaking.

This is a gorgeous lake that is not so easy to get to unless you take a Yandex or have a friend with a car. High up in a winding road, you can see our gorgeous water supply for the city of Almaty! It is gorgeous, but do not go in it or drink from it. There are guards and since this is the local drinking water, you cannot take a boat, fish or touch the water. The ice freezes over the top in the winter months and it thaws out around the end of April. A beautiful site not to be missed. Usually there is also a man with a falcon up there too for you to take photos with.

Well organised, not particualrly expensive museum, with rich collection of Kasakh culture artefacts. Particularly important golden grave findings from different locations within the country. One precious thing - photos are allowed (not like in Almaty). And open till late in some days, For me the National museum is always a must in every country; I cannot understand why organised trips very often omit museums, even these most important...

English architects of Chapman Taylor Company developed a main concept of creating one of the best projects in their portfolio – a shopping mall in Astana. MEGA Silk Way is an important object, because it attracts tourists and investments to the capital, and combines the best qualities of the MEGA chain projects. The Shopping mall was constructed according to the BREEAM requirements. The total area of the building is 140 000 m2, length is 500 m, width is 160 m. Height of the atriums is 25 m, which is equivalent of 8 floor building. About 1.5 mln m3 of interior space of MEGA Silk Way is filled with light and air, so that visitors feel comfortable. Shopping mall building consist of 3 levels: 2 ground and 1 underground floors; 9 entrances, which includes 2 underground entrances. Parking for 2100 cars, including 400 underground spaces. Attendance of the shopping mall is 1 million people a month.

This Mall is situated on the city edge not too far from the airport. It is a massive structure well provided with car parking situated around the edge of this shopping mall. Inside the structure has mainly 2 levels accessed by escalators which makes getting about easy. The shops are of all types from boutique types to basics such as chemists. You will find all you need here. There is essentially a food-hall area at one end which has a wide range of cuisines. Throughout the building are interesting and unique sculptures which can distract as you wander through this shopping extravaganza!
