Kawagoe, which had flourished as a castle town of Edo era has become to be called ‘COEDO’ as “A town which had been flourished like Edo.” Ichibangai-area where the most buildings, which are built by Kura-zukuri in Kawagoe, are standing in a row remains a trace of Edo that now we can rarely see as “A street of Kura-zukuri”in genuine Edo (Tokyo). Elaborately designed buildings, ringing bells, side streets or back street with an elegant atmosphere, and rickshaws to go by each other. The look of stores and houses on a street to mix with the feature of 3 eras, Edo, Meiji, and Taisho. Kawagoe has a Japanese culture and history which we cannot see in the other cities. In addition, the access from the center of Tokyo is good (30 minutes). So, it is selected the golf competition place on the Tokyo Olympic Games 2020. This tour starts from Taisho Dream Street filled with the atmosphere of Taisho era after meeting at Hon-Kawagoe Station, and offers you walking around the look of stores and houses by Kura-zukuri on a street which is a must-see in Kawagoe, and visiting ‘Time Bell’to have been 350 years. Furthermore, you can enjoy a walking around Snack Street where many shops, which has been since the beginning of Meiji era, to deal with traditional snacks gather. And this tour course includes the great spots too much such as watching Hikawa Shrine, which has the wooden tallest tori (a shrine gate:15m) in Japan, or watching Kita-in that is well-known as great scenery which is related to Tokugawa Shogun Families deeply.
