You can now take a self-guided walking tour through the district with descriptions in English and German as well. I'm so happy this place is gaining recognition which it truly deserves as an industrial monument with so few of its kind left. Beautiful place, where time has partly stopped. Now two of Katowice's best restaurants are located there.

This 16th century cute little church is the main attraction of Kosciuszko Park. It has been saved from destruction in another Polish town and was rebuilt here. You can walk inside - when we were there only the hall way was accessible but you could see the rest of the inside behind bars. A little bit further you can cross the busy road through an underground passage and go to the Forest Park and further to the Valley of the Three Ponds, a nice walk.
