Mt Arapiles Multi Pitch Climbing Course. Monday April 26. 2021. Glorious weather provided a magnificent backdrop to a week long climbing multi pitch course in Arapiles, Victoria. With a group of 6 and 2 very experienced guides it was a great experience. The guides with different levels of experience in extreme sports, both blended well to provide a truly safe, professional and confident training experience. I would have no hesitations in recommending this course.

This will be a full day of exploring destinations not usually seen or experienced by the average visitor to the World Heritage-listed upper Blue Mountains, west of Sydney. Yes, you could visit all the usual standard and well worn Blue Mountains crowded tourist destinations but isn’t it more fun to “step off the trail” and explore those little known places that only us locals know about? I'd like you to join me to explore the unknown, to see places that few have seen, to take home memories and tell of experiences that your friends will envy. We will experience awesome vistas, explore amazing caves, walk through cool rain forests, and dine on yummy local food and drink. The goal for the day is to avoid all the usual crowded tourist hot spots and visit some really outstanding secret places. Our day starts at Katoomba and we'll travel as far as Little Hartley, with stops in Medlow Bath, Blackheath, Megalong Valley, Shipley, and Mount Victoria.

Inclusions: Bottled water, Air-conditioned vehicle, WiFi on board, Private transportation, First Aid kit on-board

After doing wine tours overseas decided this year to sample the Hunter. The small group size was perfect, there were a total of 5 of us on the tour. We were picked up at the door of our motel in Cessnock by Steve our drive and host for the day. It was an incredibly hot day but also an incredibly enjoyable one. The wines from the three different locations were varied, the lunch (I had fish and chips) was very filling and the day was not rushed in any way. As we stayed local it was a very pleasant way to experience the wines and the valley and not have to worry about driving. If you have never tried this then you may want to. Once again Thank you to Steve who made the day enjoyable!

My husband and I did the tour on Sunday 28th March 2021. Everything about the day was fantastic. Our tour guide Kat was extremely knowledgeable and took us to some beautiful lookouts which we definitely wouldn't have seen had we gone on our own. Scenic World was amazing, especially the steep train! We were surprised that we were taken to Featherdale Wildlife Park as part of the package, we loved it there and we had our photo taken patting a koala, an amazing experience. We also had a delicious lunch at Grandview Hotel in Wentworth Falls. Thank you Kat for an amazing day!!

My wife and I took this wine tour to Hunter Valley from Sydney which proved to be quite a drive (close to 3 hrs each way) but very interesting as we had Scotty as our driver and guide and he proved to be extremely entertaining and friendly. He gave us stories, be they historical, geological or even personal almost all the way and they were very interesting, educational and funny. We visited three wineries that were all unique in their own way and then a cheese factory before heading to lunch, all of which were very good. Except for the heavy traffic on the way back due to an accident, the tour proved to be very good. Highly recommended and hope you get Scotty as your driver and guide.
