Kaslo River Trail

Reviewed By SBBrown58 - Lundbreck, Canada

I walked this trail twice one day during a visit to Kaslo. The first time I my own and later the same day I walked it in the opposite direction with my wife. For being so close town it is a really wonderful trail to walk if you have an hour or so. I was on the lookout for opportunities for some nature photos and found plenty to point my camera at. Even in October there are some flowers still in bloom. Several bird varieties and some squirrels to be seen. The river itself is quite lovely. There are several amusing concrete sculptures on the upper end of the trail which were quite unexpected and added to the walk through the forest. The two bridges are in themselves quite remarkable and worth a visit. I applaud the efforts of the local supporters and volunteers he erected them.
