Karon viewpoint is a majestic panoramic viewpoint and one of the most popular landscapes in the country and the most frequented viewpoint in Phuket. It's located between Nai Harn and Kata Noi beaches and is one of the top recommended viewpoints in Phuket Island. From this viewpoint you can enjoy extensive views of Kata Noi, Kata Yai and Karon beaches and it looks out directly to the Andaman sea. Karon viewpoint is 9 minutes away from Kata beach, 13 minutes away from Karon beach and some 30 minutes from Patong beach by car. The route to the viewpoint is hilly and steep, and it's not recommended for beginners to go there by rental motorbike. But if you have some experience of "motorbike riding", it would be a remarkable experience going there by a 150 cc motorbike. This place is always crowded and there's a parking lot there for cars and motorbikes. Karon Viewpoint (formerly "Kata Viewpoint") or locally ‘Khao Saam Haad’ (Three Beaches Hill) is a staple for many tours itineraries. Going to the viewpoint is highly recommended!

Aloha! Surf House Kata Beach is a family oriented, beach front surf club which has its own bistro and bar, as well as retail outlet. The centrepiece of the venue is the 'Double FlowRider' which allows one to seemingly 'surf', all day... everyday! Signature cocktails and cuisines prepared by international and award winning team of chef are equally appealing as you sit back and enjoy the rustic and beautiful Kata Beach. So pack up for an adventure and see you at Surf House Kata Beach!
Nice place to have a few drinks and watch people trying there luck on the waves. Great meals with good variety. Staff are friendly and helpful and very attentive. Try your luck at having a surf or just watch people stay up or fall down.

Nice little park next to surf house on kata beach. Took my kids there in the evenings so I could just run around the park. Nicely kept and very clean.

The Karon Temple night markets are a must, there is street food to try, bargains to be had and bartering if you want more than one item, there are lots of t-shirts, scarfs, bags, souvenirs. Tuesday and Friday night is market night, both nights much the same, each time I've been i've always bought something

We came upon this by chance as we were searching for the Night Market. It is very colorful and some lovely paintings inside..describing Buddha's life.

Get there early (before 1730hrs) as this place gets super busy super quick. Heaps of different food stalls to choose from for example-BBQ ribs (150 baht), Pad Thai, mixed vegetables on skewers (4 for 100 baht), fish, chicken schnitzel on a stick, ice cream, pancakes, drinks. All stalls are very clean with no bad smells. Store operators are friendly and helpful. Portion sizes are generous. -No table service (although a couple of stall operators did bring our food across to us-unexpected but lovely). We ate here most evenings (8 out of 12 nights) perfect every time- better value than the Patong food street markets and not as busy. Family friendly-large movable tables-something for everyone. Then after dinner we perused the cloths and souvenir stalls in the same block.
