Wah Tea Estate is the ancestral tea garden belonging to the Prakash family since 1953. Guests are taken on a guided tour which entails: 1. Walk around the tea estate 2. Demostration/Explanation of plucking 3. Manufacturing process from withering to packing 4. Traditional tea tasting session
Not many people are aware but the Wah tea estate is one of the ten oldest tea estates in the country. Unlike some other tea gardens in Palampur this is quite well maintained gardens with well maintained road leading right up to the factory. What an amazing place and how beautifully crafted by Japanese architect Narenka to plan it as an Avalokiteshvara ! We toured the art studios and saw the students at work. The temple is lovely the gift shop worth a visit Proceeds go to the scholarships for the students The doll museum depicts Tibetan history very well I will certainly send my artist daughter to do some workshops Out guide was great ????

This place is a must watch you can skip the stadium but not this. This place is known to hardly a few tourists so you don’t have to worry about the queues. It also has a small cafe where you can have Tibetan food and teas

A really good temple. Although it's in a very narrow lane. So it is advisable to leave ur vehicle outside the lane somewhere if travelling by ur own car.
